The “Brines” calculators provide the quantities of salt required to mix with water or other fluids to deliver a brine with a known density or with a specific concentration of salt in terms of percent of weight of water (%bwow), weight per volume of water (wt/vol) or volume factor (VF). Moreover, the hydrostatic pressure exerted by a given head of the brine can also be computed.
The “Brines” app allows user to select his preferred units and accommodates the calculation requirement for laboratory, agriculture, oilfield, civil and chemical use.
The “Brines” App includes four calculators for;
- NaCl sodium chloride
- KCl potassium chloride
- NH4Cl ammonium chloride and
- CaCl2 calcium chloride.
